Store Builder (OmniStore)
OmniStore is Omnikyo's built-in website builder — it's how you design and manage the online store your customers actually shop on. It opens as its own full-screen workspace, completely separate from your day-to-day dashboard, so designing your store never feels cramped between order tables and reports.
You don't need to write any code to use it. Every part of your store — the homepage, product pages, cart, checkout, and any extra pages you add — is built visually, out of pieces called sections, and an AI assistant is built right in if you'd rather describe what you want instead of building it by hand.

Opening the Store Builder
You open the store builder from the Storefront section of your dashboard. Unlike the rest of Omnikyo, it takes over the full screen — no sidebar, no dashboard chrome — because designing a store works best with maximum space to see exactly what your customers will see.
Inside the builder you can switch between a desktop view and a mobile view, so you can check that your store looks right on a phone before anyone else sees it. Most of your customers will be browsing on mobile, so it's worth checking both every time you make a change.
Your Theme Library
Think of a theme as the complete design of your store — its colors, fonts, layout, and the sections that make up every page. Your store keeps a library of themes rather than forcing you to pick just one and stick with it:
- One live theme — this is the design your customers see right now when they visit your store.
- Any number of draft themes — designs you're actively working on, testing, or experimenting with. Drafts are completely private; nothing in a draft reaches your customers until you decide to publish it.
This means you can safely redesign your entire storefront — try a new look for an upcoming sale, test a completely different layout, or let a teammate experiment — without ever touching what's currently live. When a draft is ready, you publish it and it becomes the new live theme. Your old live theme isn't lost; it simply becomes a version you can return to.
From your theme library, you can:
- Add a theme — start from one of Omnikyo's starter theme packs, or duplicate your current live theme as a starting point.
- Duplicate any theme, live or draft, to spin off a variant without disturbing the original.
- Rename any theme so your library stays organized as it grows.
- Delete a draft theme you no longer need. Your live theme can't be deleted — if you want to move on from it, publish a different theme in its place instead.
Pages and Sections
Every page in your store — the homepage, the shop/catalogue page, product pages, cart, checkout, and any custom pages you create (like an About page or a Refund Policy page) — is built out of sections stacked one after another.
A section is a self-contained block of content. Omnikyo's built-in library covers everything a typical store needs: header and footer, hero banners, product grids and collections, image galleries, testimonials, FAQ accordions, countdown timers, announcement bars, trust badges, newsletter signup, comparison tables, before/after sliders, lookbooks, and more. Even your cart, checkout, and order-confirmation pages are themselves built from sections, so they follow the exact same editing rules as everything else in your store.
In the builder, you can:
- Add a section from the section picker and drop it wherever you want on the page.
- Reorder sections by dragging them up or down.
- Remove a section you no longer need.
Because every page is assembled the same way, learning to edit your homepage teaches you everything you need to edit any other page in your store, including product pages (see Product Pages) and the cart and checkout pages (see Checkout and Payments).
Customizing a Section
Click on any section in the builder and an inspector panel opens beside it, showing every setting available for that section. Depending on the section, you'll typically be able to adjust:
- Content — the text, images, and links the section displays.
- Color scheme — which of your store's color palettes the section uses.
- Spacing — how tight or generous the padding around the section is.
- Typography — heading and body font choices and sizing for that section.
- Animation — how the section enters or reveals itself as a customer scrolls to it.
All of this happens visually, with the preview updating as you adjust each setting — there's no code to write and nothing to save separately until you're ready to publish.
Creating Your Own Custom Sections
Beyond the built-in library of sections, Omnikyo also lets you go further: you (or the AI assistant, see below) can create genuinely new, custom section types that don't exist in the standard library at all. This is an advanced capability meant for merchants who want something truly one-of-a-kind on their store — a bespoke layout, an unusual interactive block, or a section built around a very specific promotional idea.
Because a custom section is new territory, Omnikyo automatically runs it through a real three-step check before it's allowed to save:
- Its settings must be well-formed and make sense.
- Anything it points to — like a specific product field — must actually exist and resolve correctly.
- It must successfully display on a real sample product, not just look correct in theory.
If any of these steps fails, the section is rejected with a specific reason so you know exactly what to fix — it's never silently saved in a broken state. This safety check means a broken or malformed custom section can never take down your storefront.
Once a custom section passes this check, it behaves exactly like any built-in section: you can add it to any page, reorder it, and edit its settings through the same inspector panel. It also always sorts into its own Custom group at the bottom of your section picker, separate from the built-in sections, so it's always obvious which sections are Omnikyo's and which are yours.
One safety rule to know: if a custom section is currently in use somewhere on your store, you can't delete it outright — you can only turn it off. Once it's no longer used anywhere, it can be deleted for good.
Version History
Every theme in your library — live or draft — keeps its own version history. Opening it shows a numbered list of past versions, each with a name and a timestamp, so you can see at a glance what exists and when it was saved.
From this list, you can:
- Restore an old version into your current draft. This only updates your draft — your live store stays exactly as it is until you publish again.
- Duplicate an old version into a brand new, separate theme, so you can branch off an earlier design without disturbing the version history it came from.
- Rename a version to make it easier to find later (for example, "Before Eid sale redesign").
- Save a version manually at any point while you're working, giving it its own name — you don't have to wait for a scheduled snapshot to preserve a milestone in your design.
This gives you a real safety net: if a recent change didn't turn out the way you wanted, you can look through the history, see what an earlier version looked like, and bring it back. You never have to worry about losing a design you liked because you kept experimenting on top of it.
The AI Assistant
OmniStore includes a built-in AI assistant that can build and edit your store directly through conversation. Instead of clicking through the builder yourself, you can simply describe what you want, and the assistant does the work for you. You can ask it to:
- Rearrange or edit sections on any page
- Create a new page, either from a starter layout or completely blank
- Build a brand new theme from scratch, without touching anything currently live
- Generate images for your store
- Create or edit custom sections
Whatever the assistant builds, it shows you a preview so you can see exactly what changed before deciding what to do with it. Importantly, the AI never publishes anything on its own. Whenever it wants to publish a theme, that request always comes back to you as a pending approval that you must explicitly tap to confirm — there is no path where the AI publishes without that tap. It also won't even offer to publish a draft that still has an unresolved error in it. This means you're always the one in control of what your customers actually see — the assistant only ever prepares the work.
Publishing Your Store
Working in the builder — whether by hand or through the AI assistant — always happens on a draft. Nothing reaches your customers until you deliberately publish. This is intentional: it means you can take your time, preview your changes, come back to them later, and only push a change live when you're confident it's ready.
Once you publish a draft, it becomes your store's live theme, and the previous live version is preserved in that theme's version history in case you ever need to look back at it.
