OmniAI, your AI assistant

OmniAI is your business's AI assistant. It reads your orders, products, sales, stock and ads, answers questions, and with your approval makes changes.

Where to find it: Sidebar › Tools › OmniAI; or from any page, select the header button Ask Kyo or press Ctrl J (Mac: ⌘ J)

What OmniAI is

OmniAI is a single AI assistant that lives inside Omnikyo. It has one name inside the system — OmniAI — and one personality name — Kyo, which is what you call it when you chat. One assistant, two names. Kyo reads your orders, products, customers, sales, ads, stock and expenses, and answers questions in any language you speak (Bangla, Banglish or English). With your Approve button it can change order statuses, book couriers, create payment links, pause ads, and update settings. Everything changes require your yes.

Kyo is built to make mistakes. It is not right every time. Always check the numbers it gives you and the changes it proposes before you tap Approve. For money-affecting numbers, verify yourself before acting.

Only you and your team can see the chat. Each person's chat history stays private to the business.

OmniAI and Kyo: what is the difference?

OmniAI and Kyo are the same assistant — one inside Omnikyo, two names. OmniAI is the product name you see in the sidebar, settings, team permissions, and help text. Kyo is the personality name — what the assistant calls itself when talking to you. Kyo mirrors the language you use: if you write in Bangla, Kyo answers in Bangla; if you mix English, Kyo stays in English or mixes as you do.

The assistant is not a person. Kyo will not flatter you, will not pretend to see things that are not there, and will not bluff. It says "I don't know" or "I can't" clearly. The footer line on every chat says: Kyo can make mistakes. Check what matters.

Only Omnikyo's owner can switch OmniAI off for the team. You cannot turn it off for yourself; you can choose not to use it.

Open OmniAI beside any page

You can open OmniAI as a panel beside any dashboard page, or in full page view.

Open as a side panel

On a computer wide enough (1280 px or wider), the Ask Kyo button in the header opens a panel on the right side of the page. You can:

  • Type your question in the composer at the bottom of the panel.
  • Resize the panel by dragging its left edge (between 360 and 600 px; default 420 px, remembered across sessions).
  • Click Conversations to see your past chats. Search them with the search box or pick from Today, Yesterday, This week, This month, or Older.
  • Close the panel by pressing Esc or clicking Close OmniAI.

The chat thread stays open when you move to another page, so you can ask a follow-up question or check what Kyo is working on.

On narrower screens, the panel floats as a draggable orb (on a phone) or floats over the page edge. When an answer lands while the panel is closed, a peek card shows the first lines.

Open as a full page

Select Open full page (the icon at the top right of the panel) to widen the chat over the whole page. The chat address shows as /dashboard/omniai and you can share it using the ?c=<chat id> parameter in the URL for others to read (if they have OmniAI access). To return to the page you came from, select Move to sidebar.

Use the keyboard shortcut

Press Ctrl J (Mac: ⌘ J) from any page to open the panel or full page instantly.

Page attachment

When the panel is open, a chip shows the current page name (for example, Orders · Preparing). Kyo can see what is on that page — its filters, search, and status selections. When you say "these", "this one", "here", or "the top one", Kyo knows you mean what you are looking at. You can click the x to hide the page for that conversation, or click the target icon to show it again.

Who can use OmniAI and what each person can do through it

Only a person with the OmniAI permission (page.omniai) can open or use OmniAI. The owner grants or removes this permission from the team (Sidebar › Settings › Team › click on a person › OmniAI).

When you use OmniAI, it reads all the business's data (orders, products, ads, stock, etc.), but the changes you propose follow your own permissions. For example:

  • If you do not have Edit products, OmniAI cannot change a product name. It will say so before showing you the approval card.
  • If you have Edit orders, you can ask Kyo to change an order status. If you do not, it will refuse.

The chat history is shared across the whole team. Everyone with OmniAI access can see and reopen every business chat, but a person without Edit orders cannot see the changes another person's chat is proposing.

A person whose account is blocked (for example, because billing is overdue) cannot approve changes through OmniAI, but can still ask questions and read answers.

OmniAI limits

Kyo works smoothly for most questions, but there are four safety limits:

  1. 120 conversations per hour across the whole business. If the team hits this: "That's a lot of questions in one hour — 120 is the most I can take. I need a short pause; try again in about N minutes. Nothing is lost."
  2. Up to 14 tool steps per question — if your question needs more than 14 looks at the data, Kyo stops and tells you. Most questions need 3–6 steps.
  3. A conversation window that auto-trims after 20 of your messages. When you send your 20th message, Kyo offers to start a new chat: "This chat is getting long. A fresh one keeps Kyo quick."
  4. Memory and attachments:
    • Up to 3 images per message, 10 MB each. Voice messages up to 20 MB or 120 seconds.
    • AI memory holds up to 500 facts about your business, each up to 300 characters.
    • The profile holds up to 600 tokens of brand rules you set.

When a limit is hit, Kyo tells you plainly what happened and how long to wait.

What OmniAI can read and what it cannot

OmniAI reads:

  • Orders, customers and statuses
  • Products and stock at each location
  • Sales and profit (same numbers as your Reports)
  • Ad spend from Meta
  • Courier tracking and balance
  • Your AI memory profile and saved facts
  • The whole Omnikyo user manual (when you ask "how do I…" questions)

OmniAI cannot read or see:

  • Other businesses' data (it only sees your own business)
  • Your API keys, passwords or email
  • Private notes between team members
  • Team member activity or who did what
  • Your phone number or personal email
  • Settings fields you did not choose to share in AI memory

What OmniAI can change for you

With your Approve button:

  • Order statuses (New, Confirmed, Hold, Cancelled, Preparing, Dispatched, Delivered, Returned, Return Pending)
  • Courier booking (Steadfast or Pathao)
  • Payment links (bKash, full or advance amount)
  • Return processing (with the courier)
  • Ad controls (pause, turn on, change daily budget in BDT)
  • Store settings (name, logo, delivery fees, store visible on/off, domain, SEO fields)

Immediately, without an approval card:

  • Product edits (create, edit name, price, cost, SKU, status, description, stock, photos, options, variants)
  • Store page edits (create pages, edit pages, change themes, edit sections, add custom CSS)
  • Store publish (takes the draft live)
  • AI memory (save profile and facts)

Kyo cannot:

  • Delete orders or customers
  • Delete products (but can set them to draft or archived)
  • Run bulk changes across many orders or products at once
  • Share your data with other shops or services
  • Use or store your voice recordings or images

Where AI memory lives

AI memory is in Settings › Business › AI memory. It holds:

  • Your profile — brand rules, language, voice, banned words, delivery zones (stays in every chat)
  • Facts — durable sentences about your business that Kyo saves when you tell it something, or you type yourself (loaded into each new chat, and Kyo can recall them during a chat)

Kyo saves memory when you state a preference or correction ("I always do X this way", "That number is wrong, the real number is Y"). You can add, edit, pin, or delete any fact yourself. See What OmniAI remembers about your business for full details.

OmniGen (one paragraph)

OmniGen is an image generator inside Omnikyo, next to OmniAI in the sidebar under Tools. You can describe an image and Omnikyo generates it for you (Classic mode), or upload a product photo and OmniGen turns it into an ad image (Ad Engine). It needs a Gemini API key (ask your owner to set it up). See OmniGen: make product and ad images with AI for details.

Questions people ask

Can OmniAI see my personal information?

No. OmniAI reads only your business data — orders, products, sales, ads, stock. It cannot see your email address, phone number, team member details, or personal passwords.

Can OmniAI share my data with other shops or Meta?

No. OmniAI reads only your own business and answers within Omnikyo. It does not post to social media, forward data outside Omnikyo, or share anything with other accounts.

Can I turn OmniAI off?

Only the owner can turn OmniAI off for the team from Settings › Team. If you have OmniAI access and do not want to use it, you can choose not to open it. There is no per-person switch.

Why did Kyo give me a wrong number?

Kyo can make mistakes. Always verify important numbers yourself before acting on them. Kyo reads live data from your business, but it can misunderstand your question or miscalculate. When you ask follow-up questions, it gets more accurate.

What language does Kyo answer in?

Kyo mirrors your language. If you ask in Bangla, it answers in Bangla. If you mix Banglish and English, Kyo uses Banglish and English. You can also set a default language in AI memory (Settings › AI memory › Profile › Language).

Does OmniAI cost extra?

There is no separate cost for OmniAI use inside your plan. You have the same tools and limit regardless of your plan level.
