Schedule a shipment date

Set a future date when an order should ship. The Hold until ship date checkbox keeps the order on hold and automatically confirms it on the morning of that date.

Set a ship date

Open an order in New, Confirmed, Hold or Preparing status. In the left column below the status dropdown, you see the Ship on row:

  • Currently: ASAP (ship immediately) or a date like "25 Jun 2026" with a status label:
    • "Today" (amber badge) — scheduled to ship today.
    • "Overdue" (red badge) — the scheduled date has passed.

Click the Ship on row to open a date picker. Select a date on or after today (past dates are disabled). The form updates immediately with the selected date.

When a date is set, two additional controls appear:

  • A Hold until ship date checkbox — tick this to hold the order and auto-confirm it.
  • A Clear — ship ASAP button — remove the scheduled date.

Hold until ship date

Tick the "Hold until ship date" checkbox to:

  • Put the order into Hold status (if it is not already).
  • Keep it on hold until the morning of the scheduled date.
  • Automatically move it to Confirmed that morning (so it ships with the day's batch).

The caption says "(auto-confirms that morning)".

You do not need to remember to come back — the order confirms itself. If you are not ready on the morning it auto-confirms, change the status back to Hold manually.

Good to know: Auto-confirm happens once per day in the early morning (Asia/Dhaka timezone). If the order is already Confirmed or Preparing before that morning, it stays as-is.

Find orders by ship date

From the Orders list, use the filters to find orders by their scheduled ship date:

  1. Click the filter button to open the filters popover.
  2. Under "Shipping", choose:
    • "Due to ship" — orders whose ship date has passed (overdue).
    • "Scheduled" — orders with a future ship date.
  3. Apply the filter. Matching orders appear in the list with a badge showing the date ("Ship today", "Ship 25 Jun", "Was due 12 Jul").

Clear the schedule

To remove a ship date and go back to ASAP:

  1. Open the order.
  2. Click the Ship on row to open the date picker.
  3. Click Clear — ship ASAP.
  4. A toast confirms: "Schedule Cleared" — "Order is back to ship-as-soon-as-possible."

The order returns to ship whenever you move it to Preparing or Dispatched (no longer on hold).

What happens to orders that are already Dispatched or Delivered

Once an order is Dispatched, the ship date disappears (you cannot change when something has already shipped). For earlier statuses (New, Confirmed, Hold, Preparing), the ship date always shows.

Questions people ask

Can I auto-confirm orders on a weekend?

Yes. If you set a ship date for a Saturday and tick "Hold until ship date", the order will auto-confirm Saturday morning and wait for you to process it.

What if I want to extend the ship date?

Open the order and select a new date in the Ship on picker. The old date is replaced. Toast "Shipment Scheduled" confirms the change.

Will the order ship automatically?

No. The Hold until ship date checkbox only auto-confirms the order to Confirmed status. You still need to manually move it to Preparing and then Dispatched, or book it with a courier. Auto-confirm just takes one status change off your hands.

Can I hold an order with no ship date?

Yes. Change the order status to Hold in the status dropdown, without setting a date. The order stays on hold until you change it manually.
