Settings
The Settings overlay holds business details, team access, personal preferences and integrations. Open it from the sidebar or search it with the command palette.
Where to find it: Sidebar › Settings, or press Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) or Command+K (Mac) and type "settings"
What the Settings overlay is
The Settings overlay is a drawer that slides up over your dashboard. It holds four groups: Business (company details, locations, team and security), Selling (store, delivery, payments, sales channels), Marketing (ads and tracking, inbox channels), and You (your profile, password, devices, preferences). Pages are grouped on the left (on desktop) or in a list (on phones). Permissions control which pages you can see.
The four groups
Business holds your business name, handle, team members, roles and sign-in security rules. Everyone on the team sees their own profile; only the owner can change the business name or delete the business.
Selling pages are where you set up delivery fees, connect couriers, add payment methods like bKash, and link Shopify or your own website. Team members with page.settings.integrations permission can open these.
Marketing includes Meta Ads, your Pixel and Conversions API, and inbox channels for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp messages. Again, requires integration permissions.
You has your name, email, phone, password, two-step verification, passkeys, where you are signed in, and your preferences (theme, order forms, receipt width). These are just for you — your changes don't affect the team.
Open, search and close the Settings overlay
To open Settings, tap or click Settings in the sidebar. On a phone, Settings is in the menu (three lines, top left). You can also search with the command palette: press Ctrl+K or Command+K and type a label or keyword like "business name" or "two-step" — the first match opens when you press Enter.
The overlay closes when you press Esc, click the × button (top right), or click outside it. If you have unsaved changes, you will be asked to confirm you want to discard them.
The save bar and unsaved changes guard
When you change something on a page (like Business name or your phone number), an orange Unsaved changes bar appears at the bottom of the overlay with Discard and Save buttons. Some settings (like Preferences) save instantly with no bar.
If you try to close Settings, switch to another page, reload the browser, or press Esc while changes are waiting, a dialog appears: "Discard unsaved changes?" — you can keep editing or throw away the changes and move on.
Who sees which pages
Permissions control whether a page appears in the list. For example:
- General (business name and delete business) is seen by anyone with the
page.settingspermission. - Security (team sign-in rules) appears only if you have the
users.viewpermission. - Profile and security and Preferences are always available — they are about you alone.
- Locations, Online store, Domains and others depend on the page.settings.integrations permission or page.settings.storefront.
If you cannot open a page you expected, ask your business owner to grant you that permission.
On a phone
On a phone, the Settings overlay is full height, with a drag handle at the top. Drag down or press Esc to close. The left nav becomes a list with icons and labels. Expand sections by tapping them. Everything else works the same.
Change your business name
Open Settings and go to General. The Business name field shows the current name. Tap or click it, edit the text, and the Unsaved changes bar appears. Click Save and the change takes effect on invoices and the dashboard right away. The name must be at least 2 characters. Toast message: "Business name saved".
The Business handle is a permanent identifier you cannot change. It appears in read-only type below the name. If it is not set, contact support to add one.
Delete your business
The Delete this business button appears in General, but only if you are the owner. Clicking it opens a confirmation block where you must type the exact business name to confirm (case does not matter, but spaces and punctuation must match). When the text matches, the Delete forever button turns on.
Deleting the business is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes the business, all its orders, products, customers and your account. Your team members lose access immediately.
Set your preferences
Open Settings and go to Preferences. Every choice here applies to you alone, on this device. Changes happen immediately — there is no save bar.
Full-screen order forms — toggle on to open order details, new orders and exchanges as full-screen sheets instead of floating boxes. Better on small screens.
Receipt paper — choose 80 mm (standard) or 58 mm (compact) to match your thermal printer width. This controls which layout your receipts print on.
Theme pack — pick a dashboard look from the grid: Default (the standard Omnikyo), Sugar Rush (pastel), Neon Grid (cyberpunk), Brutalist, Luna XP (Windows XP throwback), Bloom (cottagecore), Dollhouse (Barbie), Aurora Glass (frosted), Synthwave (80s), Mocha Café (warm). Only you see your choice. Select Default to go back to the standard look.
