What is the difference between a draft theme and a live theme?
A draft theme is invisible — only you and your team see it. You can edit it for as long as you need. A live theme is what shoppers see when they visit your storefront. Only one theme can be live at a time.
Publish a draft to make it live. The previous live theme becomes a draft, so you can always edit and re-publish it if you want to go back.
Can I see my storefront while it is still a draft?
You can preview a draft theme before publishing — click Preview in the theme library or use the preview window in the designer. Shoppers cannot access the preview link. Once you publish, the store is live and anyone with your store address can visit it.
Do I need to publish a theme even if I turned on "Store visible to customers"?
Yes. Visibility is a separate switch. Even if you turn Store visible to customers on, shoppers will see "Opening soon" or "Not published" until you publish a theme. Both conditions must be met: a theme and the visibility toggle on.
Where do I set the favicon?
The favicon (the tiny icon in the browser tab) is part of your theme, not a separate store setting. Go to the designer, look for Theme settings (usually on the right panel or in a top menu), find the section Logo and favicon, and upload an image. Publish the theme to go live.
Does my free address still work if I change it?
No. Your old free address (like oldshop.omnikyo.com) stops working immediately when you rename to a new one (like newshop.omnikyo.com). The old name is released and someone else can claim it.
If you use a custom domain instead, the free address still works alongside it — changing your free address does not affect the custom domain. This is one reason custom domains are useful: they are stable across name changes.
Can I go back to a theme I used before?
Yes. In the theme library, click Version history on the theme. You can see and restore any saved version. The version becomes your new draft, and you can edit it or publish it to go live.
Why is there no Discounts item in the sidebar?
Discounts are an optional feature that a coordinator has to enable. Ask your administrator to turn on PLATFORM_FEATURES=discounts if you need discount codes or automatic discounts at checkout.
Can shoppers write reviews and comments on my store?
Not by default. You need to add a Ratings and reviews section to your product pages in the designer. Once you do, shoppers can write reviews and leave ratings — they land in Sidebar › Website › Reviews for you to approve.
If you see no Reviews item in the sidebar, ask your coordinator to check your plan.
Why don't customers get an email when they message the contact form?
You do not receive automatic notification emails. The contact inbox in Sidebar › Website › Contact inbox is your only alert. When a shopper fills out the contact form, the message lands there and waits for you to read it. Set up a reminder to check the inbox regularly, or ask your team to monitor it.
Can I set a free-delivery threshold (spend $X for free shipping)?
You cannot set a free-delivery threshold in the dashboard yet. A coordinator can configure per-zone free-shipping thresholds in the database if the feature flag is turned on, but no merchant UI exists. For now, use delivery fees set to 0 to offer free shipping, or create a free-delivery discount code.
Why are some theme packs not showing when I create a theme?
Only the Field theme pack is offered for new stores. Older packs (Atelier, Bazaar, Mono, Bloom, Luxe, Plush, Gallery) are no longer recommended, but if your store is already using one, it stays and you can keep editing it. All packs work the same way — only the look and starting sections differ.
Does the price I show on my store match what the shopper pays?
The price displayed is what you set in the product. The total at checkout includes delivery fees, which are calculated based on the shopper's zone (Inside or Outside Dhaka). Show the delivery fee in Store settings so shoppers know the added cost before checkout.
For landing pages, the price you set is the final price — you control everything.
Can I reorder my products on the storefront?
Yes, if you use Collections. Within a collection, you can set the order manually. Products in the main shop can be sorted by the shopper (newest, price, best-selling, etc.), but the default order is manual — reorder them in Sidebar › Products by dragging.
What happens if I delete a product that is in an active offer?
The offer breaks. Shoppers see "This offer is no longer available" and cannot place orders from that landing page. Fix it by editing the offer to use a different product, or add the product back to your catalog.
Can I have multiple stores in one Omnikyo account?
No. One business account has one storefront. If you need a second store, create a new Omnikyo account or contact support.
