Connect Facebook for ads

Connect your Facebook account to Omnikyo so it can read your Meta campaigns, ad spend and Pixel data.

Continue with Facebook

Open the Account tab in Ads and tracking. If the card titled "Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp" is showing a Continue with Facebook button, you can start the login.

1. Select Continue with Facebook.
2. Facebook's login and permission screen opens. Approve the permissions Omnikyo is asking for. The permissions give Omnikyo access to your Pages, ad accounts, Pixel data, product catalogs and WhatsApp.
3. When you finish, you return to Omnikyo with a toast saying Connected to Facebook.
4. Below the login, choose which Facebook Page, ad account, dataset (Pixel) and product catalog Omnikyo should work with. Each has a dropdown showing your options. Select Don't use if you do not want Omnikyo to use one.
5. Select Save accounts.

The login must be finished within 15 minutes by the same Omnikyo user and business that started it. If you close the browser or the window times out, you need to start again.

Good to know: You need to set up the ad account's currency and tax rate in the Ad spend tab so that Omnikyo can show the correct taka amounts.

Reconnect or disconnect Facebook

The Facebook connection expires. When it is about to expire, you will see the warning Facebook asks you to log in again soon to keep access. Click Reconnect when convenient. If Facebook has already revoked access, the warning changes to Facebook stopped this login. Click Reconnect to keep messages and ads working.

To reconnect, select Reconnect in the connection card. Go through the Facebook login again (same steps as above).

To disconnect and stop using this login, select Disconnect. A confirmation box appears asking to confirm: "Disconnect Facebook?" with a description: "New messages stop arriving, and ads, Pixel and catalog features stop working until you connect again. Conversations already in your inbox stay." Select Disconnect to confirm.

When you disconnect, Omnikyo stops reading your campaigns and ad spend. Any data already in the History tab stays, but new data stops being fetched.

Connect your ad account with an access token

If the Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp card is not showing (your business is not yet rolled out to the Facebook login), you can set up with a pasted access token instead.

Open Settings › Ads and tracking › Facebook and Instagram › Account tab. You will see three fields:

Ad account ID — This starts with act_ (e.g. act_123456789012345). Find it in your Meta Ad Manager under Settings › Ad accounts (in the top left, click the business icon).

Access token — A long-lived token with ads permissions. To generate one: log in to Meta's Business SDK Explorer, select your business and app, then query GET /me/adaccounts to generate a token.

Graph API version — The version of Meta's API to use. The default is v19.0. You can check your current version in Meta's Graph API Explorer under Graph API version.

Fill in all three fields and select Save. A toast Meta token saved confirms the save.

Careful: Keep your access token secret — it lets Omnikyo read (and through OmniAI, manage) your campaigns. Never paste it into untrusted sites or share it.

Refresh the list of accounts

If you have just created a new Facebook Page or ad account in Meta, Omnikyo's dropdown might not show it yet. Select Refresh on the connection card to re-read the list from Meta.
