Pause an ad or change its budget with OmniAI

The Manage tab has no pause or edit buttons. The only in-product way to pause, turn on, or change a daily budget is to ask OmniAI and approve its card.

Ask OmniAI

Open the OmniAI chat (usually a pane on the right). Ask a question like:

  • "Pause the Summer campaign"
  • "Turn on the Test A ad set"
  • "Change the budget of Sales to ৳2000 per day"
  • "Set the daily budget to ৳3500"

OmniAI reads your request and looks at your live campaigns on Meta. If it understands what you mean, it shows an approval card with the action and the exact change.

Review and approve the card

The approval card shows what OmniAI will do. It might show:

  • Pause action — The campaign, ad set or ad name, with Pause as the action.
  • Turn on action — The name, with Turn on as the action.
  • Daily budget — Shows the new amount, like "৳2,500 / day".

Read it carefully. If it's wrong, dismiss it and ask OmniAI again in different words. If it's right, tap or click Approve. The change is sent to Meta.

Notes about budgets

When you change a budget through OmniAI, state it in taka (৳). The code sends the amount to Meta; make sure you ask in the currency you want to spend. The amount appears in the approval card before you approve it, so check it matches what you meant.

What happens after you approve

Meta updates the campaign, ad set or ad on its end. Pausing takes effect immediately. Turning on takes effect immediately. Changing the budget takes effect immediately. The Manage tab shows the new status next time it refreshes (when you change the date range, tap the refresh button at the top, or the page reloads).

Questions people ask

What if OmniAI misunderstands?

Dismiss the card and ask again. Try saying the campaign name exactly as it appears in Manage, or describe what you want more plainly ("Stop the March campaign" or "I want to spend less on Test A — change it to ৳1500 daily").

Can I pause from the Manage tab directly?

No. The Manage table is read-only. Pause, turn on, and budget changes go through OmniAI.

Does my budget change appear in Reports?

No. Reports use your stored ad spend history and tax settings. Changing a daily budget does not rewrite past data.
