What it is
Meta Ads shows three levels: campaigns, ad sets and ads. Your campaigns come from Meta if they were created in Meta's own interface or through Omnikyo. The page shows them as live data, fetched from Meta right now. Nothing is stored except for the History tab, which keeps your daily ad spend.
You cannot pause, turn on, edit budgets or delete campaigns here. This page is read-only for seeing what is running and how much it is spending.
Manage vs History
The Manage tab shows live campaigns from Meta right now. Numbers, statuses and whether ads are active come straight from Meta every time you look. If an ad set or campaign was paused in Meta's own interface, it shows as Paused here.
The History tab shows your stored daily ad spend per campaign and ad set for past dates. These numbers came from Meta but are saved in Omnikyo and do not change. History data is before tax — the Manage tab and your Dashboard add tax when converting taka.
The Manage tab updates whenever you open it. History does not update by itself until the daily job runs (at 07:30 Dhaka time, storing yesterday's spend). You can manually Fetch data for any date up to 7 days ago.
The three levels
You see campaigns, then drill into ad sets, then into ads. A tick box next to each campaign turns it on or off on this screen (to drill down, not to pause on Meta).
Campaigns. The top level. A row shows the campaign name, a chip showing its status (Active, Paused or Archived), spending, results, and other metrics you choose. Tick one or more campaigns to open the Ad sets tab below.
Ad sets. Click the Ad sets tab after ticking campaigns. An ad set is a group of ads that shares targeting and budget (if your campaign uses per-ad-set budgets). Each ad set row shows its name, status, spending and results. Tick one or more ad sets to open Ads.
Ads. Click the Ads tab after ticking ad sets. Each ad row shows a thumbnail of the creative (a photo, video or animated ad), the ad's name and metadata. A Preview button or click on the thumbnail opens the ad's image or video full size.
Change the date range, filter by status and pick columns
The toolbar at the top has a date picker, a Status filter and a Columns menu.
Open the date picker to set any range. Preset buttons: Today, Yesterday, This week, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month, Last month, Last 90 days, This year. For a custom range tap start date then end date and press Apply. The default range is the last 30 days.
Use the Status: dropdown to show only Active or Paused campaigns/ad sets/ads. All shows everything including archived ones.
The Columns menu lists the metrics you can see on each row: Delivery, Results, Cost per result, Amount spent, Budget, Impressions, Reach, Frequency, Clicks, CPM, CPC, CTR and Meta purchase ROAS (on campaigns/ad sets only) or Creative (on ads only). Choose which ones to show. Your choice is remembered while the page stays open but is not saved between visits.
Every column's meaning
Delivery shows the status: active, paused or archived.
Results is a count of actions — the first of these that Meta reports: purchases through the pixel, leads, messages or landing-page views. If Meta did not report any of these, the result is calculated from the spend and Meta's cost-per-result (if that is above zero). Results is not tied to your campaign's goal — a Sales campaign with no purchases yet can show link clicks instead.
Cost per result is the spend divided by results, rounded to the nearest taka. It reads "—" if there are no results.
Amount spent is the total Meta spend for the row, converted to taka using your saved dollar rate and tax (if you set a tax rate).
Budget is the daily budget. It shows only for campaigns (if the campaign has a campaign-level budget) or ad sets (if they have per-ad-set budgets); ad-set budgets in campaign-level budget structures never show. Budget is rounded to taka and includes your tax rate if one is set.
Impressions is the count from Meta, unchanged.
Reach is the count of people who saw an ad, from Meta.
Frequency is how many times the average person saw an ad (e.g. 2.5 means an average person saw it 2.5 times). It shows "—" if zero.
Clicks is the count from Meta.
CPM (cost per thousand impressions) is spend ÷ impressions × 1,000, converted to taka.
CPC (cost per click) is spend ÷ clicks, converted to taka.
CTR (click-through rate) is clicks ÷ impressions × 100%, shown as a percentage with two decimals (e.g. 3.25%). It shows "—" if zero.
Meta purchase ROAS is Meta's own measurement: Meta-attributed purchase value ÷ Meta-reported spend. It is not the Dashboard's ROAS (which measures store profit).
Creative (on ads only) is a Preview button to see the image or video.
Who can see and change Meta Ads
Anyone with the Meta Ads permission (page.meta) can open Meta Ads and see campaigns. To Fetch data on the History tab or delete stored campaign data, you need Sync ad data (meta.sync). Only the owner and members with Meta Ads permission can see the History tab.
Pausing, turning on or changing a budget happens only through OmniAI — ask Kyo for help, and approve the change when it appears.
