Getting Started with Omnikyo
This guide walks you through setting up Omnikyo for the first time, from signing up to placing your first order. The guided setup takes only a few minutes, and every step beyond the basics is optional — you can always finish them later from Settings.

Before you start
You don't need a website, a developer, or any technical background. You don't need a courier account, a Meta Ads account, or a custom domain to get going — all of those can be added later. All you really need is something to sell and a way customers can reach you (a Facebook Page, an Instagram account, a WhatsApp number, or all three).
Step 1: Sign up
Create your Omnikyo account with your email or phone number. This takes a moment and doesn't require a credit card — remember, Omnikyo is free to start, so there's nothing to pay just to explore the platform.
Step 2: The guided setup
Right after signing up, you'll be walked through a short, guided setup. Each step below is quick, and most of them can be skipped and completed later without losing any progress.
2.1 — Business details
Enter your business name. A logo is optional here — you can upload one now or add it later from Settings. This is the name your customers will see on your storefront, invoices, and courier labels.
2.2 — Your profile
Confirm your own name. A phone number is optional but worth adding now, since it's useful for account recovery and team communication later.
2.3 — Build or import your store
Choose how you want your storefront to exist:
- Build natively in Omnikyo — start from a theme in the store builder and customize it yourself or with the AI store-editing assistant. See Store Builder.
- Import from Shopify — if you already run a Shopify store, connect it and bring your existing products and orders across.
Either choice is fine to start with, and you're not locked in — you can adjust products and store settings at any time.
2.4 — Custom domain (optional)
You can connect your own domain name (like yourshop.com) now, or skip this and use the free Omnikyo subdomain Omnikyo gives every store. Connecting a custom domain later, from Settings, doesn't affect anything you've already built.
2.5 — Connect a courier account (optional)
If you already have a Pathao or Steadfast account, you can connect it now so you're ready to dispatch orders as soon as they come in. This step is entirely optional at signup — you can connect Pathao, Steadfast, RedX, or Paperfly at any time from Settings. See OmniShip for details on all four supported couriers.
2.6 — Connect Meta Ads (optional)
If you plan to run Facebook or Instagram ads, you can connect your Meta Ads account during setup. This is also entirely optional and can be done later from Settings — see Meta Ads.
That's it
If you skip every optional step, you still end up with a working store in a matter of minutes. Nothing about skipping these steps limits your account — they're simply conveniences to save you a trip to Settings later.
Step 3: What to do next
Once setup is done, three things will get your business fully running on Omnikyo:
- Add your first products. Head to Products and create your catalog — names, prices, photos, and variants like size or color. See Products.
- Share your store link or connect your inbox. If you built a storefront, share its link with customers. If you sell primarily through Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp DMs, make sure those channels are connected so conversations land in your Unified Inbox.
- Place or import your first order. If a customer messages you directly, paste their message into the AI order parser to create a clean order in seconds. If you imported from Shopify, your existing orders will already be visible in Orders.
What a new account looks like
Right after setup, your Dashboard will show mostly zeros — no sales yet, no orders yet, empty charts. That's completely normal. As soon as your first order is created and moves through its lifecycle, your Dashboard, Customers, and Reports will start filling in with real numbers. See Dashboard Overview to understand what each number means once data starts flowing in.
Getting help along the way
