Find oversold products (Negative Inventory report)
The Negative Inventory report lists every product with an available quantity below zero, showing how many are reserved and how much stock is oversold.

Open the Negative Inventory report
Type /reports/negative-inventory in your browser's address bar or navigate directly there. The page opens a list of oversold products as cards.
The report title reads Negative Inventory Report with text "Products with more reserved items than available in stock."
Read an oversold product card
Each oversold product shows as a card with:
- Product name (the product title)
- Available (in a red badge, showing how many units are missing, e.g. "-5 available")
- Three numbers in the middle: Stock (physical units), Reserved (units booked on open orders), and Available (stock − reserved, in red)
Stock minus reserved equals available. When available is below zero, the product is oversold.
Interpret the numbers
Stock: physical units you have.
Reserved: units promised to open orders (Booked, Preparing, Hold, Dispatched, or Delivered status, depending on the location's reservation rules).
Available: stock − reserved. Red when negative means you promised more than you have.
Careful: Oversold products can disappoint customers if you cannot find or make more stock before delivering. Restock, cancel some orders, or change orders to a different product before dispatch.
When the list is empty
If you see "All inventory levels are healthy. No oversold products found.", no products have a negative available quantity.
When the page fails to load
If you see the toast message Error loading report, the page could not fetch your product list. Refresh the page and try again.
