What the report shows

The report is laid out in four headline cards and four detailed charts. The headline cards show overall delivery performance, speed from dispatch to doorstep, cash with couriers, and city risk. The date range picker at the top right controls what dates are included.

Delivery rate and Return rate explained

The Delivery rate is the share of parcels handed to a courier that reached the customer. The Return rate is the share of those parcels that came back. Both are worked out from non-cancelled orders created in the date range whose status reached Dispatched or further. Only parcels handed to a courier count; orders still being prepared do not.

Time in each stage

The Time in each stage chart shows how long an order waits at each step on average. The chart names each step as "To confirm", "To prepare/dispatch…" or "To deliver" (the verb tells you what happens next), with the typical wait time (the middle value, or "median") and the slowest 10% of orders. Orders that go straight from Confirmed to Preparing skip the Confirmed step.

The Slowest figure at the top right names whichever step takes longest. Shortening that step gets cash in sooner.

Courier scorecard

The Courier scorecard table lists every courier you have used with their delivery count, success rate and average fee per parcel. The success rate turns green at 70% or higher, amber at 50% or higher, and red below that. The returns column turns red above 20%. Click a row to open that courier's orders.

The Best courier figure at the top right names the courier with the highest success rate among those who carried at least five parcels in the period.

Couriers by delivery success

The Couriers by delivery success chart ranks them by parcel count sent. The definition says "Of the parcels each courier carried, the share delivered." Tap a row to open that courier's orders.

Cash with couriers and advance rate

Cash with couriers is the value of cash-on-delivery orders that left your hands but haven't been delivered yet. This money is yours once they are delivered and settled. The Advance rate is the share of all orders (including cancelled ones) where the customer paid something up front.

Courier spend is what every parcel sent cost in courier fees (the count of sent parcels times the average fee); Fees on returns is what came back parcels cost in courier fees — money spent for nothing. These are estimates based on the average fee per courier, not recorded totals.

Orders by city and Cities by return rate

The Orders by city chart shows where parcels went. City names are typed by hand when orders are created, so the same place can appear twice under different spellings; read city names as a general direction.

The Cities by return rate chart shows only cities with at least five orders, ranked by their return rate. The definition suggests asking for an advance on orders to the top of this list, as advances cut returns.

The Riskiest city at the top right is the city with the highest return rate among those with at least five orders. The Over 30% back figure counts how many cities have 30% or more of their parcels returned, so you can see at a glance how many high-risk areas you serve.
