The product overview panel
Click any product row to open a modal showing pricing, margins, stock by location and variant, sales in the last 90 days, recent orders, and stock movements. You can adjust stock and edit the product without leaving the page.

The header shows the product name, status pill (Active, Draft or Archived), category, SKU (if set), and variant count (if the product has options). On desktop an Edit button opens the full editor. The back arrow only appears when you have stepped into Adjust stock or Stock movements.
Price and margin facts
The left column shows a photo gallery (the main image first, then all other photos) and below it a fact list with the Price, Compare at (if set), Cost or Avg. cost (the mean cost of all variants; shown as "Not set" if none have a cost), and Margin % (green if 20% or higher, amber below 20%).
Stock at a glance
Stat cards for Available, Sold · 90d, Revenue · 90d and Returned are quick glances: stock in total, units sold and revenue in the last 90 days, and the return rate. Revenue shows "~৳X gross profit" when costs are known, else "Add a cost to see profit".
Stock by variant and location
Scroll down to the Stock section. For variant parents, one row per variant shows the variant name (without the product name prefix), price, and stock columns. For simple products, one row per location shows the stock columns.
If you have multiple locations, each row shows On hand, Reserved, Unavailable (damaged), and Available. If you have one location, the columns are the same.
Available = On hand − Reserved − Unavailable.
For simple products, the default location has a Default badge.
Adjust stock without the full editor
Click the Adjust button (the sliders icon) next to any variant or location row to open the stock adjust form. This opens a step inside the modal. Choose the mode: Receive (new stock arrived), Remove (lost, stolen or written off), Set count (what is on the shelf right now), or Unavailable (damaged, held back). Add a reason (Theft or loss, Correction, Other) and a note if needed. Enter a whole number of units, then Save. The modal refreshes and you are back at the overview.
If stock adjustment fails, a toast shows the error. Quantities must be whole numbers — decimals are rejected.
Recent orders
The Recent orders list shows up to 5 of the most recent orders containing this product. Each row shows the order number, customer, when it was ordered, how many units, the order status, and total. Click to jump to that order. If there are no recent orders, the section shows "No orders yet."
Stock movements history
The Stock movements section appears only if you have the Inventory page permission (page.inventory). It shows the 5 most recent changes to stock: adjustments, sales, orders, reserves, transfers, returns, and restock. Each entry shows the type, when it happened (relative time like "2 hours ago"), the location, and any note.
Click View all (with a count) to see the full history in a paged step with absolute timestamps and up to 20 rows per page. Older entries are loaded with the Older button.
Load errors
If the product fails to load, the modal shows "Couldn't load this product" with the error message and a Try again button.
On a phone
The modal takes the full screen. Stock adjustment, movements history, and the overview slide over one another with a back arrow at the top.
Questions people ask
Can I adjust stock for a specific location from here?
Yes. Click Adjust on the row for that location, choose your mode, and save. If the product has variants, each variant has a separate row per location.
Why does the Available number show "—"?
If you are in the Adjust stock step and the quantity is invalid, the Available calculation cannot run — this is just visual feedback that your entry is not yet a number.
What is the difference between Reserved and Unavailable?
Reserved means the stock is held for an order that hasn't been delivered yet — it will be released when the order is fulfilled or cancelled. Unavailable (damaged) is stock you have removed from sale and is not returned to customers unless a return case is created.
