Adjust actions and reasons

When you press Adjust on a product row, four actions appear for managing stock: Receive, Remove, Set count, and Unavailable. Each action has its own reason options or adjustment fields.

Receive — New stock arrived

Adds units to on-hand. No reason field.

Remove — Lost, stolen or written off

Removes units from on-hand. Choose a reason:

ReasonUse when
Theft or lossUnits are missing or stolen
CorrectionFixing a previous count error
OtherAny other reason

Set count — What is on the shelf now

Replace on-hand with an exact count (e.g., "12" means 12 units, not 12 added). No reason field. Shows the difference: +3 or -2.

Unavailable — Damaged, held back from sale

Adds units to the unavailable (damaged) count. Subtracts from available. No reason field.

In all cases, you can add an optional note up to 500 characters.
