Open the Negative Inventory Report

Open the Negative Inventory Report to see products whose available stock (on hand minus reserved minus unavailable) has dropped below zero across all locations.

Where to find it: The page lives at /reports/negative-inventory in your browser, but there is no link in the sidebar or menu. You must navigate directly.

Open the report by typing the address

1. Open your browser's address bar.
2. Go to the end of your Omnikyo store URL (the part starting with omnikyo.com or your custom domain).
3. Type /reports/negative-inventory after it. For example: your-store.omnikyo.com/reports/negative-inventory
4. Press Enter.

The report loads with all products whose available stock is below 0.

What the report shows

The report displays a card for each oversold product. Each card lists:

• The product name.
• A red badge showing the available count (a negative number).
• Three figures:
  • Stock: the on-hand count (can be negative).
  • Reserved: units promised to open orders.
  • Available: Stock minus Reserved minus Unavailable (the negative number in the badge).

The numbers are totals across all locations for the product combined.

If the report is empty

When all inventory levels are healthy, you see a single card saying "All inventory levels are healthy. No oversold products found." This means no product has available stock below zero anywhere in your business.

Fix oversold products

An oversold product usually happens when orders are dispatched and confirm a sale before enough stock is on hand, or when returns are not fully received. To fix it:

1. Open the Inventory page and filter by Oversold to see the products with on-hand stock below zero.
2. Use Set count to correct the on-hand number, or Receive stock to add the missing units.
3. Process any pending returns with Mark Returned & Restock to put the units back in stock.

After fixing, reload the Negative Inventory Report to confirm the product is gone.
