Load and choose Pathao pickup stores

Load your Pathao pickup stores so Omnikyo knows where you ship from, then pick a default store.

Where to find it: Sidebar › Settings › Shipping and delivery › Pathao › Pickup stores section Who can do it: A member with the pathao.settings_edit permission (usually the owner or a manager).

Before you start

Your Pathao credentials (Client ID, Client secret, login email and password) must be saved in Omnikyo. If they are not, go to the Pathao page and save them first.

You must have at least one pickup store set up in the Pathao merchant panel. If you have not yet created one in Pathao, go to https://merchant.pathao.com, add a store (e.g., your shop or warehouse address), and come back here.

Load your stores

1. Go to Sidebar › Settings › Shipping and delivery › Pathao.
2. Find the Pickup stores section. You will see a button that says Load stores (if this is the first time) or Load again (if stores are already loaded).
3. Click the button. Omnikyo will fetch your stores from Pathao. This takes a few seconds.
4. Once loaded, a toast will show "1 pickup store loaded" or "{N} pickup stores loaded" (where N is your number of stores).
5. Each store appears as a row showing its name and address.

Good to know: The Load again button is disabled while you have unsaved edits in the Pathao credentials above. Save your credentials first, then load stores.

Set a default store

One store must be marked as Default. When Pathao collects a parcel from you, it comes from the default store.

1. In the Pickup stores section, find the store you want as default.
2. If it already shows a checkmark and Default, it is already set.
3. If it shows a Make default button, click it. A loading spinner appears briefly, then the store shows Default with a checkmark.
4. The default store also appears at the top of the Pathao page in the facts line (e.g., "Default: Your Shop, Dhaka").

You can only have one default store at a time. If you change your mind, pick another store and click Make default on it.

What the default means when you book

The default store is NOT used automatically when you book a parcel. Every time you book, Omnikyo shows you a menu of all your saved stores and you pick one. The default store is just a reminder of where you usually ship from; you can pick a different store any time.

For example, if you have two stores (Dhaka and Chattogram) and Dhaka is default, when you book a parcel you will see:

• Send to Pathao › Ship from Dhaka
• Send to Pathao › Ship from Chattogram

You can pick either one.

What if I see "No pickup stores"?

The Pickup stores section appears empty with a message "No pickup stores loaded". Reasons:

You have not yet loaded stores: Click Load stores to fetch them from Pathao.

Pathao has no stores: You have not set up any pickup store in the Pathao merchant panel. Go to https://merchant.pathao.com, add at least one store with your address, then come back and click Load stores.

Pathao timed out: Omnikyo tried to fetch from Pathao but did not get a response in time. Wait a moment and click Load again.

Your credentials are not saved: Go to the top of the Pathao page, check that Client ID, Client secret, login email and password are all filled in, and click Save. Then load stores.

Refresh after adding a store in Pathao

If you add a new pickup store in the Pathao merchant panel, it will not appear in Omnikyo until you reload:

1. Come back to the Pathao page › Pickup stores section.
2. Click Load again. The new store will be fetched and added to your list.

Questions people ask

Can I book from a store that is not default?

Yes. The default store is just a label. When you book, you see all your stores and can pick any one.

What happens if I delete a store in Pathao?

Omnikyo will stop showing it once you click Load again. If you had a parcel booked from that store, the tracking code stays; the store name will not update.

Can I have no default store?

No. Pathao requires a default. Omnikyo picks the first store (or Pathao's own default) if you have not set one explicitly.

I have many stores. Do I load them all?

Yes. Click Load stores once and Omnikyo fetches every store you have set up in Pathao. You will see them all listed and can pick which one to use each time you book.
