Dashboard problems
Fix issues when the Dashboard shows errors, missing numbers, or cards that won't load.
Ad spend shows "n/a" or the card says "Meta unavailable"
What you see: The Ad spend headline shows n/a, or the card's caption reads Meta unavailable.
Why it happens: The connection to Meta (Facebook/Instagram) timed out, failed or is not set up. The dashboard tried to fetch your ad account's spend for the date range but did not get an answer within 8 seconds.
How to fix it:
- Check that Facebook is connected. Open Settings › Ads and tracking › Facebook and Instagram › Account. The Account tab should show a green Connected badge.
- If it is not connected, tap Sign in with Facebook and follow the prompts.
- If it is connected but still shows Meta unavailable, go back to the Dashboard and tap the Refresh button (circular arrow at the top).
- If Refresh still shows
Meta unavailable, the connection may have expired. Open the Settings page again, tap Disconnect, then Sign in with Facebook to reconnect.
The ROAS and ad-cost figures (Per order, Per delivered, Per unit) also read n/a while Meta is unavailable. Net profit becomes equal to Gross profit.
Net profit shows "n/a"
What you see: The Net profit headline shows n/a, usually with the Ad spend also showing n/a.
Why it happens: Meta is unavailable or failed, so the ad spend figure cannot be calculated. Net profit depends on it, so the card shows n/a rather than guessing.
How to fix it: Follow the steps above to reconnect Meta. Once Meta is connected and Refresh succeeds, Net profit shows a number.
If you want to see profit without relying on Meta, open Reports › Financials instead. It can calculate profit even when Meta is unavailable.
No change arrows next to Sales, Orders or Avg order
What you see: The change percentages and arrows (↗ 5%, ↘ 2%) are missing.
Why it happens: There is nothing to compare with. Change arrows appear only when:
- The date range does not end on today, OR
- The date range ends on today and the local time is 23:00 or later.
If the range includes today before 23:00 (e.g. Today, This week, Last 7 days while today is in progress), the previous period is incomplete, so the dashboard hides the comparison.
How to fix it: Choose a range that ends on a past day, such as Yesterday or Last 30 days. Or wait until after 23:00 local time today.
Today looks empty (zero sales, no chart)
What you see: When you select the Today date range, all figures show 0 or are blank. The Sales and ad spend chart has no bars or lines. Other cards are empty.
Why it happens: No orders were placed yet today, and the day is not finished (before 23:00). The comparison against yesterday is hidden because today is incomplete.
How to fix it: This is normal. When orders arrive, the figures update. You can also select Yesterday to see completed data, or change the date range to see an older period.
Dashboard numbers differ from Orders or Reports
What you see: The Sales or Orders headline on the Dashboard does not match the total in the Orders list or the Reports page.
Why it happens: They measure different things.
- Dashboard: counts orders placed in the date range. Counts by placed date in your business time zone (default Asia/Dhaka), whole days from 00:00 to 23:59:59.
- Orders list: shows every order, filtered by status or search. Does not group by date.
- Reports › Orders & Sales: can also count by placed date, but defaults to a different period (month-to-date vs. your chosen range).
To match them, open Reports › Orders & Sales, set the date range to match the Dashboard, and check the Total row.
The hourly chart total does not match the Sales headline
What you see: When you select Today (a single day), the Sales by hour chart shows an hourly breakdown. The total of all the hour bars is less than the Sales headline figure.
Why it happens: The hourly chart is built from the 100 most recent orders of that day only. On a day with more than 100 orders, the older hours are not shown in full, so the chart looks lower.
How to fix it: The Sales headline is correct. The hourly chart is still useful for seeing when orders arrive, but on a very busy day it is incomplete. If you need exact hourly data, use Reports › Storefront Analytics instead, which shows every order.
Net profit is too high (or missing cost)
What you see: The Net profit looks wrong, or you suspect Product cost is missing.
Why it happens: A product with no cost price counts as zero cost, which inflates profit. If you did not enter a cost price when you created the product, the dashboard and reports assume it cost ৳0 to make.
How to fix it:
- Open Products and find the product.
- Check the Cost price field. If it is empty, fill it in.
- Go back to the Dashboard and tap Refresh.
The profit figures recalculate using the new cost price. Net profit may drop if the real cost is high.
Courier health or Cash in flight shows no data
What you see: The Courier health card says "No parcels handed to a courier in the last 30 days." The Cash in flight card shows ৳0 for all rows.
Why it happens: No orders have been dispatched to a courier yet, or all dispatched orders are older than the tracked window (30 days for Courier health and collections).
How to fix it: This is normal when you have no couriers connected or have not shipped anything yet. Once you connect a courier and dispatch orders, the cards populate.
A card says "Couldn't load…" with a Retry button
What you see: The Needs attention, Courier health, or Cash in flight card shows an error: "Couldn't load what needs attention" (or the corresponding card name).
Why it happens: The live data fetch for that card failed. This is separate from the date-range data and can fail independently while the rest of the dashboard loads.
How to fix it:
- Tap the Retry button on the card.
- If it still fails, close the page and open the Dashboard again.
- If it fails again, check your internet connection.
The live cards load independently; if one fails, the others still work.
Refresh shows an error: "Couldn't refresh everything"
What you see: You tap Refresh (the circular arrow button). A red notice appears: "Couldn't refresh — showing the last loaded data. Couldn't refresh everything."
Why it happens: The server request to refetch the dashboard data failed. This is usually a network error or a temporary server issue.
How to fix it:
- Tap Retry in the notice (or tap Refresh again).
- If it keeps failing, check your internet connection.
- Close the browser tab and open the Dashboard again.
The last figures you saw stay on screen. They are not updated, but they are correct as of the last successful load.
The campaign filter gear button shows no campaigns
What you see: You tap the Filter campaigns gear button on the Ad spend card. The list is empty with the message "No campaigns with spend in this period."
Why it happens: Either Meta is not connected, Meta timed out, or your ad account has no campaigns that spent money in the selected date range.
How to fix it:
- Check the date range: Some campaigns may not have spend on that date. Try widening the range (e.g. select Last 30 days instead of Today).
- Check that Meta is connected: Go to Settings › Ads and tracking › Facebook and Instagram › Account and confirm the badge shows Connected.
- Check your ad account: Open Facebook Ads Manager in another tab and confirm you have running campaigns. The dashboard pulls from your main ad account only.
Once a campaign has spend, it appears in the list.
