Dashboard
The Dashboard is your business at a glance: the money you took in, what you spent on ads, what you kept as profit, where your orders are, and what needs a person right now.

What it is
The Dashboard opens when you sign in and refreshes to show today's figures by default. It gives you a single place to check the health of your business without opening separate pages. You can choose any date range: today, last month, or a custom span. All the main cards update to show that period. Some live cards (orders that need attention, courier updates, cash waiting in couriers' hands) stay live all the time and ignore the date choice.
Every figure opens a small explanation when you tap or click it. Move a pointer across a chart to read one day or week. Tap a coloured bar to drill down to the related list.
The five rows of cards
Row 1: Your money (three cards side by side)
- Sales: the total money from orders placed in the period, including delivery fees. The figure below shows how many orders were placed, the average order value, how many were delivered, and how much came from delivery fees.
- Ad spend: what you paid Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for ads in the period, converted to taka and taxed. The number below show the return you got on ad spend (ROAS), the cost per order, cost per delivered order, and cost per item sold.
- Net profit: what you kept after the products and ads. The figure below shows gross profit (before ads), what products cost you, profit per order and profit per item.
On a phone, these cards stack one above the other. On a desktop, they sit side by side and fill their space.
Row 2: The period (left: sales over time; right: where orders are now)
- Sales and ad spend (left): a chart showing sales each day with the ad line beside it. For a single day, the chart shows sales hour by hour. The numbers below show the best and average day, and the lowest. Drag a finger across the chart to read one day.
- Orders by status (right): a bar at the top shows the order count split by status. Rows below show each status, the order count, value, and what share of your total it is. The footer shows how many are still moving (New, Hold, Confirmed, Preparing, Dispatched), how many are Delivered, and how many are Returned or Cancelled. Tap a status to open the Orders list filtered to that status.
Row 3: What sold and what needs attention
- Top products (left): the 50 best-selling products this period by units sold, shown ranked by the money they made. Tap a product to see which of its variants sold. A Show all button reveals the full list.
- Needs attention (right): six rows, each showing orders that need a human right now (without a courier update in 24 hours, awaiting return, held up more than 6 hours, waiting to ship, not booked yet, or on hold). Tap a row to open those orders and handle them. The red badge shows the count of urgent items.
Row 4: Couriers and cash
- Courier health (left): the last 30 days, how many parcels each courier delivered, returned, or is still moving, and the return rate (red above 10%). The average days from dispatch to delivery. The Full report button opens the detailed Fulfilment & Courier report.
- Cash in flight (right): money on the road (parcels not yet delivered), cash the courier collected but not yet paid you, and returns on the way back. Each row shows the count and when the money arrived. The footer shows how much the courier collected in the last 30 days (in green).
What is tied to the date range
The date picker (calendar button at the top right) changes the date for the three headline cards (Sales, Ads, Profit) and the period charts (the sales chart and Orders by status). It also affects Top products. When you change the range, the old figures stay on screen dimmed while the new ones arrive.
The Needs attention list, Courier health, and Cash in flight ignore your date choice: they show live data (what needs doing now) and fixed windows (last 30 days for couriers, last 5 days for cash in transit).
How the numbers load
When you open the Dashboard or change the date range, it fetches from your database first. While Meta (Facebook) is answering about your ad spend, the Sales and Profit cards fill in, and the ad figures show a loading bar. If Meta is slow (more than 8 seconds) the ad card shows Meta unavailable and the figures read n/a until the next Refresh.
The Needs attention, Courier health, and Cash in flight cards load separately. If one fails, it shows an error message and a Retry button; the rest of the dashboard still works.
On first load, all cards show skeleton shapes. After that, refreshes keep the old figures on screen and swap them in place (no flicker).
Where each card leads
Most cards drill down to a related list when you tap them:
- Tap a status in Orders by status to open Orders filtered to that status
- Tap a product in Top products to see which variants sold
- Tap a row in Needs attention to open and handle those orders
- Tap a per-courier row in Courier health to open the Fulfilment & Courier report
- Tap Full report buttons to go to Reports for a deeper view
Every number on the three headline cards opens a popover with its plain meaning, the sum behind it, and an explanation of how it is calculated.
Questions people ask
Can I use the Dashboard on my phone?
Yes. The three headline cards stack into one column, and all the controls (date picker, refresh button) work the same way. The date picker opens as a bottom sheet instead of a popover.
When does the Dashboard refresh?
The Dashboard updates data when you open it. If you come back within 60 seconds, it shows the last loaded figures. After 60 seconds, it fetches fresh data. You can also tap the Refresh button (circular arrow at the top) to reload all figures right away. Creating a new order from the New Order button also refreshes the database figures.
Are cancelled orders in the Sales figure?
No. Sales counts orders that are New, Hold, Confirmed, Preparing, Dispatched, Delivered, Return Pending or Returned. Cancelled orders are never counted.
Why does Ads show n/a?
Ad spend shows n/a when Meta (your Facebook account) is not connected, timed out answering, or failed. Connect your ad account in Settings › Ads and tracking › Facebook and Instagram, then come back and tap Refresh. If it still shows n/a after 8 seconds, check your internet and try again.
Does the date range affect the Needs attention list?
No. Needs attention is live data (what needs doing right now) and stays the same no matter what date you chose.
